  General Notes:

Abraham who wrote a will on Aug 31, 1797 in Northern Liberties and died before it was executed on Mar 7, 1804, named his wife Frances, his brother Jacob and his sister Elizabeth Van Cleve. He was a blacksmith who owned property in Camden, N.J. (will book 1: p.185) He might possibly be the brother of Johannes Jacob Coates who was the son of Alexander Coats also of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania It would fit by time and place.
