Reuben Gaskins was on the 1827 Tax lists for Gallia Co., OH, not for owning land but for his chattel. He lived in Raccoon Twp. He paid taxes on Chattel for 1 cattle in Raccoon Twp. in 1818 and on 2 cattle in Gallipolis in 1824 and 2 cattle in Raccoon Twp., Gallia Co., OH in 1825. He is missing from the 1822, 1823, 1826 and 1828 Tax lists, whatever that means.

He owns land adjacent to his father, Bartholomew, in Raccoon Twp., Rio Grande, Ohio as provided on a plat map by Warren Lawrence. (CL-495)
