   Another name for Barbara was Balawa.

  General Notes:

Her first name though unreadable in the original Digby Family Lineage does not look like Letitia as given in Joseph's work. It looks more like Barbara or Bawlawa. I am interpreting what looks like an L as a B and what looks like a w as an r from a later clear version of Robert de Digby in the manuscript using the same letters. Her surname could be Dalby though the first letter is also hard to decifer. (C-2267)

Barbara married Esquire William DE DIGBY, son of Esquire Everhard DE DIGBY DE TILTON and Amicia BRETTON.
