Thomas Jacques was a French Huguenot and architect. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1690 bringing the plans for the Friends Meeting house which he oversaw the construction of in 1695. His four daughters all joined different religions in this country. Only his daughter Beulah became a Quaker. (C-2157)
