She is listed as Goodyear for her surname in a 1912 book that includes the ancestors of Abel Sperry, but according to Olive Hoffman this is a misinterpretation based on the fact that her husband was known as "Goodyear's farmer". New Haven Vital records supposedly have the Richard Sperry marrying Dennis (Dennise) Richard instead, but this needs to be verified as Jacobus, using the vital records, listed her with no known surname. (F-525, 609)
Dennise married Richard SPERRY, son of John SPERRY and Mary UNKNOWN, about 1648 in , New Haven, CT, USA. (Richard SPERRY was born on Feb 16, 1605/06 in , , , England and died in 1695 in Woodbridge, New Haven, CT, USA.)
