Leslie received a land grant of 250 acres in Wilkes Co., GA in 1784 and 287 more acres in Washington Co., GA in 1790. From 1789 to 1793, he's listed in headrights for bounty lands in Washington Co., GA. His estate records are in "WILKES COUNTY, GEORGIA INVENTORIES, SALES, ETC.--BOOK "N N" - 1811-1812: Page 77-81--COATS, LESLEY, dec'd. Nov. 5, 1810. Peter Harris saying he had notified the distributees of the estate that he would apply to the court for a division the dec'd. having been dead two years. Benj. Sherror, Wm. Jones, Thos. Terrell and Garland Wingfield app. to divide it, there being seven distributees, including the wid. viz. Drusilla (C-1918, E)
