  General Notes:

What is consistently attributed to him is that he was admitted as a freeman in 1670 and listed as a proprietor in 1685. (F-15,29) He moved to Wallingford sometime after 1668.

The Genealogical and Family History of the State of Connecticut says that he also has a son named Abner, born 1667. This source also said he was married to Mary Brooks and this is a confusion with other Brooks marriages in the Bunnell line. (F-23)

Benjamin married Rebecca MALLORY, daughter of Peter MALLORY and Mary PRESTON, before 1667. (Rebecca MALLORY was born on Mar 11, 1649/50 in New Haven, New Haven, CT, USA ⁸ and died on Mar 12, 1690/91 in New Haven, New Haven, CT, USA ⁸.)

Benjamin next married Elizabeth POST, daughter of John POST and Hester HYDE, before 1695. (Elizabeth POST was born on Feb 22, 1654/55 in Saybrook, Middlesex, CT, USA and died in 1715.)
