  General Notes:

John traveled with his father and Daniel Boone to Calloway Co., MO. He was an auctioneer and sheriff for that community. On his way to a Temperence Meeting in Fulton Co., MO, he was killed by a runaway horse. He 10 left children, at least one son named John who was 5 at the time of his death. Other known children's names included James, Thomas, William, Mary, Nancy, and Marie. (C-1804, 2284E)
