 General Notes:
Mary is listed as the daughter of Warwick and Rebekka in her birth and baptismal record. However, since Warwick and Rebekka did not marry until 1745 and Warwick was married to a Mary in 1741, I find it much more likely that Mary was the d. of Warwick and Mary instead. Since she wasn't baptized till after Warwicks second marriage, I conjecture that his second wife was listed in both records because of that. (C-1685)
In "Colonial and Revolutionary Familes of PA," Mary is listed as one of the most gifted and beautiful women of her day. Her husband died when her daughter was 11. A few years later, when she knew she was dying of an incurable disease, she arranged for her only daughter's marriage at the young age of 15 to Benjamin Hutton. She died just two weeks after their marriage when she knew her daughter was safely cared for. (E)
