According to "Colonial and Revolutionary Families of PA", this John's name was John Hudson instead, b. 1742, d. 12/23/1765. (E) Hinshaw lists Alice's husband as John Langdale Jr., first cousin to Alice. They were married out of unity. He said he drowned before testimony could be produced on 11/29/1765. I personally would suspect that Hinshaw is the correct source.
