  General Notes:

Henry and his wife were members of the Episcopal Church. They lived in Leicestershire in England. (C-1921) According to a 1905 listing of this families lineage by Thomas Allen Glen, Henry was the son of Henry, and grandson of Lawrence Coates of Sproxton instead of the son of Thomas and grandson of Lawrence Coates. In other words, it's not certain which of two sons of Lawrence that Henry descends through. ⁵
