Eleanor JAMES
In Llansantffraid Parish, Cardigan, Wales there is a James James married to an Ann Davies who is having children at the same time as Eleanor James and her husband Owen Evans who could be her brother. This is the only other James in the christening records for that Parish. James James names one child David (after his father?) and one child Mary (after his mother?) if he is the brother to Eleanor. I believe it to be highly likely. Eleanor married Owen EVANS on 1/29/1830 in Llansandffraid, Cardigan, WLS.1 (Owen EVANS was born in 1798 in , , , S. Wales,3 died on 9/8/1885 in , Jackson, OH, USA and was buried after 9/8/1885 in , Jackson, OH, USA.) |
1 Owen Evans, Eleanor James Marriage, Jan. 29 (24 or 27th) 1830 (Llansandffraid, co. Cardigan, Wales).
2 Evans, Dan, Letter from an Evans Cousin living near Rio Grande, Ohio to Marcena Clark Coate in 2001 (Family members names not always spelled correctly or in order).
