We know her death date and birth date from a mourning ring which bears the inscription “Frances Gray Forte Obt 14th March 1820 A’tat 76” which currently belongs to Penny Lindley.

Secondly she has a George II plain shaped circular scroll silver waiter or tray inscribed on the underside “Margret [sic] Forte 1756”. The hallmark is London 1755.)
