  General Notes:

When Phebe married James she was widow Thompson with two daughters. She was received on certificate withe her daughters from New Garden Monthly Meeting at Cane Creek MM on Mar 3, 1770. She was disowned for marrying out of unity to James Vestal because he had been disowned by Cane Creek on May 4, 1765. The had at least three children. (C-1380)

Phoebe married James VESTAL, son of William VESTAL Jr. and Elizabeth MERCER, on 3/9/1772 near Cane Creek M.M., Chatham, NC, USA.¹ (James VESTAL was born about 1730 in , Baltimore, MD and died before 5/14/1793 in , Surry, NC.)

Phoebe next married Samuel THOMPSON in 1760.¹ (Samuel THOMPSON was born in 8/1742 in , Chester, PA and died in 1768 in , , NC.)
