It is only theory that this Agnes was the wife of John Bagley whose wife's first name we have not been able to locate. If so, she would have been 24 at the time of their marriage. (C-1364)

The St. Edmund Parish records are no longer readable from Jun 3, 1600 to May 3, 1601. This is the likely time period for John and Miss Tomlinson's marriage based on the baptismal date of their first child. (C-1364, 2247) There is controversy whether or not John Bagley's wife was the daughter of Elizabeth Tomlinson or her sister or sister's daughter. If she was Elizabeth's sister, the theory states she was Agnes or Joan or another unknown that like Elizabeth, did not have a christening record.

Agnes married John BAGLEY, son of Thomas BAGLEY and Elinore HARISONE, about 1601. (John BAGLEY was born before Feb 25, 1572, christened on Feb 25, 1572 in St. Edmund, Dudley, Worcestershire, ENG,⁵ died in 1648 in Coseley, Stafforshire, ENG ⁶ and was buried in May 1648 in St. Thomas, Dudley, Worcestershire, ENG ⁷.)
