The Bible that is quoted as the source for this Daniel and Esther Troth Coats family is her bible as quoted in the front "Esther Coate, 1825" and is likely in her excellent penmenship. However, the copywrite on the bible is 1830, so it's likely that the front inscription was put in later and had the date slightly wrong. 1
Esther married Daniel COATE, son of Asahel COATE and Mary STRICKERS, on Nov 15, 1823.1 (Daniel COATE was born on Nov 22, 1802 in Kingwood, Hunterdon, NJ, USA 1 and died on Sep 18, 1867 1.)
