Adila (Alice) VERMANDOIS 1
Herbert supposedly had a daughter named Adela and Alice, so I think this person is one and the same as another of his daughters. Their spellings were so close and they didn't maintain any consistent spellings, so it gets very confusing. The wife of John de Lacy was also called Alisa, Athele and Alix. (C-1383)
Adila married Arnulph I COUNT OF FLANDERS, son of Baldwin II "The Bald" Count of Flanders and Elfrida. (Arnulph I COUNT OF FLANDERS died after 964.) |
