  General Notes:

CD-100 estimates her birth date about 1122. An Alternate death date for Eleanor on CD-102 is 31 Mar. 1204 respectively. On page 590 of Harry's book is gives her death date as 3 Mar 1204. Her death date is 1204 in Warren's book. One source, CD-100 gives it as June 26, 1202. Obviously, these facts are not solid.

When she was Queen of France and married to King Louis VII, King Henry II of England fell in love with her. She divorced her husband, and married King Henry II, by which she had multiple children. ⁶

Eleanor married Louis VII OF FRANCE before 1153. (Louis VII OF FRANCE died before 1153.)

Eleanor next married Henry II "Curtmantle" King of England, son of Geoffrey V "Plantagenet" COUNT OF ANJOU and Mathilda QUEEN OF ENGLAND, on 5/18/1153. (Henry II "Curtmantle" King of England was born on 3/5/1133 in Le Mans, Sarthe, FRA,³ died on 7/7/1189 in Chinon, Indre-Et-Loire, , , FRA and was buried after 7/7/1189 in Fonteurault, Maine-Et-Loire, FRA ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

CD-100 states that Eleanor and Henry were not married. This is obviously in contention with other sources. Henry was known to have had many mistresses, however.
