  General Notes:

Samuel was a Colonel of the militia and member of the House of Assembly for St. Thomas Parish. Although having two wives, he died without issue. He is buried in the family vault in St. Thomas Church. (F-458,462)

Colonel married Elizabeth LESLIE, daughter of Hon. Henry LESLIE and Margaret UNKNOWN, in 1763. (Elizabeth LESLIE was born in 1736 and died in 1772.)

Colonel next married Elizabeth SAUNDERS on Apr 21, 1775 in , St. Thomas Parish, , Barbados.
