His will is provided by Sandra Ferguson as follows: James McCool of Backcreek, near Opekon, will recorded 9th 2nd Mo 1751. “To well beloved wife Ann McKool, all goods and personal estate and all property to be used in bringing up our small children.” The witnesses were James Wright and Mary Wright , Ann’s parents. 5 James married Anne WRIGHT, daughter of James WRIGHT and Mary BOWATER, in 1742. (Anne WRIGHT was born 29 d 1mo 1724/5 in Mongoguisie, Cecil, MD 6 and died on Apr 27, 1801 in Hopewell, Frederick, VA, USA 7 8.)
