Samuel Underwood along with sister Mary and Thomas Cook, and sister Ann and Stephen Ailes requested a removal from the New Garden MM on the 11th month of 1742. Samuel and Anna moved to York Co., PA about 1755 where they were members of the Warrington MM. In 1762, they moved to Chatham Co., North Carolina on certificate dated 9/4/1762. The Doberteen manuscript says they lived in Orange Co., NC prior to his death. He and Ann had 8 children. A descendant of this branch is Linda Underwood Miller at JMi8685193@aol.com.
