Edward VIII Duke of Windsor 1
He was King Edward VIII for 11 months in 1936. He abdicated the thrown to marry a twice divorced American and was given the title of Duke of Windsor in it's place. His younger brother was named King in his place. 2 Edward married Bessie Wallis WARFIELD, daughter of Tecle Wallis WARFIELD and Alice MONTAGUE. (Bessie Wallis WARFIELD was born in 1896 and died in 1986.) |
