GLOVER, Hannah 1
- Born: 1675, Kings Cleare, Hampton, ENG
- Marriage: GILPIN, Joseph on Dec 23, 1691 in Baghurst, Southampton, Eng
- Died: Jan 12, 1757 at age 82
General Notes:
She and her husband Joseph came to Pennsylvania in 1695. They had 15 children, the first one born in a cave now about one mile south of Dillworthstown on Brandywine Creek on what was their property. (C-874) Several other accounts list anywhere from 3 to 13 children born in the cave. (C- 804, 811, 871) It is much more likely that only the first child was born in the cave while housing was being prepared. On Oct. 12, 1694, William Lamboll gave his sister Alice (Lamboll) Glover, widow, 100 acres in Chester Co. with it to go to her daughter, Hannah Brunsden Gilpen at her death. In 1704 William gave 75 acres to Joseph Gilpin, husband of Hannah Brunsden. (C-871)
Hannah married Joseph GILPIN on Dec 23, 1691 in Baghurst, Southampton, Eng. (Joseph GILPIN was born on Jun 8, 1663 in Warborough, Oxfordshire, ENG and died on Nov 9, 1739 in Birmingham Twp., Chester, PA, USA.)
