LINK, Julius
He joined the German Merchant Marines as a young man. When it docked in Philadelphia, he visited his Aunt Regina and never returned to the ship. He stayed with his Aunt and got a job in Philadelphia as a painter. He was also in an orchestra as a violinist. According to the 1930 census for Philadelphia, Julius entered the U.S. in 1906.
