Reverend David S. DAVENPORT 1
He was a Sergeant in Company F, 152nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. He later became a minister in the New Light Christian Church. He officiated the marriage of his brother-in-law, William Thomas Coats, to Lucinda Wheeler in 1869. David married Margaret COATS, daughter of John COATS and Martha (Patsy) RUDY, on 9/10/1846 in , Miami, OH, USA.1 (Margaret COATS was born in 3/1829-1831 in Newberry Twp., Miami, OH, USA 2 and died after 1900 of Randolph, IN, USA 2.) |
