(C-811) Joseph married Elizabeth MERCER, daughter of Thomas MERCER and Mary GREENAWAY, on 11/9/1712 in Elkton, Cecil, MD, USA. (Elizabeth MERCER was born on 8/14/1692 in , Northhampton, ENG and died after 1751 in Cane Creek, Orange, NC, USA 7.)   Marriage Notes: An alternate name for Joseph Woodward is Thomas Woodward. However, Quaker records list him as Joseph. He married Elizabeth Mercer between two Monthly Meetings dated Aug. 3, 1712 and Sept. 12, 1712 when it had been accomplished. (C-811, 869)
