He wrote his will in 1803 in Iredell Co., North Carolina. Iredell was a part of Rowan Co., NJ until 1788. In it, he names wife, Elizabeth, and children: Susannah, Thomas and an unmarried daughter named Charity. His "brother", Samuel Reeves, is the executor. This Benjamin has been found to be a genetic match to other Coats from Rowan Co., North Carolina. 1
