If Charlotte had a daughter named Esther, she is highly likely to be alive in 1880, living with her son-in-law Riley Deihl and his wife, Esther in White River, Randolph Co., IN. She is listed as Charlotta Hiatt. The only disparaging fact is that her parents are listed as being born in Indiana. This could easily be because the information was given by a grandchild or greatgrandchild who simply didn't know. Everything else is a good match and I believe that this is Charlotte Coats.

Charlotte, her husband, theirs sons and daughters with spouses and children totalled 26 at the 1859 reunion in Randolph Co., IN. Two were absent and three were deceased at the time. ⁶
