James Robert Coats Descendant

As follows is my line. Much of this came from the family bible of Madison Coats, but is corroborated by census records, wills and deeds.  I purchased this bible from Annie Sue Coats Sumrall in 1994, and believe it is correct back to James Robert Coats.

1. James Robert Coats, R1a1,  b.1786 NC/SC (SC formed in 1788?). m.1807 Josephine Elizabeth Webster, b. 1787 SC.
2. John Webster Coats, b.1808 Robertson County, TN., (yes, there was a border dispute, same as the one between Ohio and Michigan),  m.1835 Ellen Brantley b. 1820 SC.
3. Ben Franklin Coats, b.1854, Ms., m.1877 Rebecca Griffin, b. 1861, Ms.
4. John Webster Coats, b. 1879, Ms., m. 1903 Cora Elizabeth Limbaugh b. 1885 Scopus, Mo.
5. Gene Jess Coats, b. 1910, Cape Girardeau, m. Leona Bade, b. 1914, Maeystown, Il.
